The Best Workout Spots Around Bay Harbor & Bal Harbour for Women, Men, and Kids

The Best Workout Spots Around Bay Harbor & Bal Harbour for Women, Men, and Kids Joyce Azria July 10, 2025

By Joyce Azria

Living in the Bay Harbor and Bal Harbour area means more than just beautiful waterfront views and luxury homes — it’s also about the lifestyle. And for me, that includes feeling strong, balanced, and inspired to move.

Whether you’re a mom looking to squeeze in a workout between showings and school drop-offs (hello, me), a dad chasing performance, or a family wanting to move together — I’ve rounded up the most stylish, effective, and welcoming workout spots in our neighborhood.

Here are my absolute favorites for the whole family:

1. Reforming Pilates

1072 Kane Concourse, Bay Harbor Islands
For me, Pilates is non-negotiable. Reforming Pilates is that quiet-chic studio that makes you feel stronger, taller, and more in tune with your body after just one session. Their instructors are sharp and soulful, and it’s perfect whether you’re brand new or a longtime reformer devotee.

Joyce’s tip:
Go for a midday class to break up your workday and reset your posture — it’s my go-to when I’m jumping from design meetings to property tours.

2. The Only Studio

1015 Kane Concourse, Bay Harbor Islands
This boutique barre and yoga studio has quickly become a local obsession. It’s luxe without the ego, and every class delivers that deep burn we all secretly crave. Think: candles, affirmations, and the kind of sweat that makes you feel beautifully human.

Great for:
Women who want to sculpt and stretch, men who secretly love barre (trust me, it’s harder than it looks), and teens exploring fitness in a positive space.

3. Exhale Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour

10295 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour
I always say: work hard, then recover beautifully. Exhale is where you can take a barre class, sweat through a HIIT session, then unwind in the steam room or book a deep tissue massage. It’s fitness with a luxury overlay — and so worth it.

Family-friendly perk:
They often have couples and mommy-daughter spa packages — treat yourself post-workout.

4. Milla Dance Fit

1047 Kane Concourse, Bay Harbor Islands
Movement can be joyful. Milla Dance Fit is a Pilates-barre-dance fusion that brings the fun back to fitness. It’s rhythm, resistance, and real results. I took my daughter once, and now it’s our favorite girl date.

Joyce’s vibe:
Go on a weeknight, wear your cutest set, and let yourself have fun. No perfection, just presence.

5. Tai Chi in the Park with Joycelyn

Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K–8 Park
This is one of those hidden local gems. Slow, meditative, grounding — perfect for all ages, including grandparents or kids who need mindful movement. I love starting my week with this class under the trees. It’s Miami magic.

Perfect for:
Gentle family movement. Kids love copying the flowing movements, and adults get the reset we all crave.

Bonus: Haulover Park Adventures

10800 Collins Ave, Miami Beach (just minutes north)
When I’m looking for a family day that includes sunshine and sweat, Haulover Park is where we go. Skate park, tennis courts, open grass for yoga or HIIT circuits, and a bay breeze that reminds you you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

In My Routine
As a working mom, entrepreneur, and real estate matchmaker — movement helps me stay connected, focused, and energized. Here’s a little weekly inspo:

Living here isn’t just about owning the home — it’s about living the life. If you’re new to the area or just looking to fall back in love with your neighborhood, start by moving your body, connecting with the community, and finding your favorite rhythm.

I’m always happy to share more lifestyle gems — and if you’re dreaming about calling Bay Harbor home, let’s take that walk (and maybe a reformer class after 😉).

With movement and love,
Joyce Azria
